Pingtel’s SIPxchange ECS—the PBX for Linux—is a 100% SIP, enterprise-grade, full featured, software-based IP PBX with integrated voice mail, ACD, multiple auto attendants and a web-based system configuration and management tool. SIPxchange ECS is based entirely on the SIP standard, and operates on popular Red Hat Linux servers, PSTN/IP gateways, and end points. SIPxchange ECS (Enterprise Communications Server) delivers the redundancy, interoperability, scalability and “plug and play” benefits enterprises expect. ECS is a SIP PBX “and more”; including a robust real time architecture, integrated presence and an ACD. Pingtel’s SIPxchange ECS provides very low-cost IP PBX, branch office, key system, and call center solutions. These solutions integrate with legacy TDM and IP networks, meet requirements for TDM PBX replacement, and improve the user experience with the features, reliability, and flexibility you expect from high-cost proprietary vertically integrated solutions. Pingtel’s SIPxchange ECS is a full featured software based IP PBX (and more) designed to work with an off-the-shelf server running Red Hat Enterprise Linux Edge Servers (RHEL ES). A single server with single CPU can support up to 250 users while a server with dual CPU can support up to 1000 users per location.
SIPxchange ECS attribute highlights include the following:
- Voice Mail: Integrated voice mail system that leverages 30 virtual ports and delivers up to 300 voice mail boxes.
- Automated Call Distribution: Automatically distributes calls to multiple users or queues through intelligent routing.
- Unified Messaging: Provides basic unified messaging capabilities; from providing email notifications when you receive a voice mail to listening to your voice mail via a browser interface.
- Presence Server: Captures presence information on configured endpoints, and interfaces with other real time communications applications to maximize enterprise wide presence intelligence.
- Multiple Auto Attendants: Customize multiple auto attendants within your enterprise to properly route calls coming from the outside. Auto attendants are easily configured via browser interface.
- Configuration Management: Provides an intuitive browser interface for centralized control and management of dial plans, users and endpoints.
