How the System Works
VoiceSmart is a software IP PBX that runs on your server. It is based on a sophisticated software technology with client-server architecture.
 
The server software is to be installed centrally on your Windows based PC/server to provide call routing and management.  VoiceSmart server connects your data network with your internet lines (VoIP) or traditional phone lines (analogue and/or ISDN).

The client software can be installed on each user's PC to provide a list of rich and powerful call features.  VoiceSnart Client software runs on any Windows PC and operates as a traditional telephone. You can use a wired or wireless headset to connect to your PC to operate the soft phone. You can also connect it to a USB telephones. The Client can also serve as an operator console with presence status to show status of all extensions. 

 
VoiceSmart client offers well established functionalities (e.g. call transfer, waiting, re-dial, queuing) PLUS:
  • Integration with Outlook or your personal address book, DB or CRM system 
  • Call recording at a click
  • Unlimited number of extensions

  • Calls by highlighting telephone number on the screen

You can also use a SIP-based phone on a stand alone basis if no PC is available.

With VoiceSmart phone system you can use equipment you already have: central server, data network and PCs. As opposite to any hardware alternatives, the only hardware you need to buy are telephones, headsets and, where required, PCI cards!
